Ghanaian musician Nacee has urged President John Dramani Mahama to keep his pledges to the country’s citizens.
He claims that these pledges inspired Ghana’s youth to cast large numbers of votes for him, therefore breaking them would be a serious setback for him.
“The only advice I have for John Dramani Mahama is that whatever promises that he gave to the youth of Ghana, he should do his best to fulfil them because the whole of Ghana is green, and it shows that Ghana has gained independence”.
“I am happy to be part of the second independence and I am happy to be part of the independence. The first one was with Dr Kwame Nkrumah I wasn’t there but today I was here some,” he told TV3 in an interview.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) invited Nacee to produce a song, but subsequently withdrew, he revealed.
“I told them that I’m there if they want me to record a song for them; they should come, but I think they were a bit scared, so those that came forward didn’t come again” he stated.
