Ghanaian musician, rapper and songwriterLadsmid Nathaniel Owusu know professionally with the stage name Lasmid during the weekend stirred controversy at Bright Senior High School in Akyem Kukurantumi near Koforidua, Eastern Regional Capital after he refused to come down from his Land Cruiser Vehicle to perform on stage during the school’s SRC Week celebration .
The musician demanded that the balance of the agreed amount be paid to him in full before he comes out to perform.
It took about an hour after the balance was paid by the organizers before he came down to perform.

The Takoradi born MTN hit maker season 8 winner did not disappoint as he performed his hit songs electrifying the atmosphere as the students sung along cheering him for more.
The students prevented initial attempt by the musician to end his performance as they shouted repeatedly in unison that “we want more “.
Lasmid had no choice than to continue performance for another extra minutes to entertain the students.
In honour and appreciation of the musician, a visual Arts student of Bright SHS gifted the musician a pencils portrait picture.
He pledged support for the student for his works to be made known globally to make livelihood from it.
This year’s Bright SHS SRC week celebration was filled with lots of activities such as career guidance and counselling , float on principal streets of Kukurantumi, indoor games, drip night, music performance and talent show, fashion show, drama, traditional wear day, among others.
Bright SHS is a leading private secondary school in Ghana adjudged as Best Private School by West Africa Press International, and also Abuakwa North Education Directorate.
