Kennedy Agyapong, former flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is set to make another bid for the party’s presidential slot ahead of the 2028 general elections, according to his brother, Ralph Agyapong.
Speaking in an interview with Kings Jersey TV in the United States on March 15, 2025, Ralph disclosed that Kennedy Agyapong is preparing to contest the party’s next presidential primaries, adding that internal dynamics within the NPP now favour his brother’s candidacy.
“I can tell you on authority that he will contest the presidency or the NPP primaries, hopefully, next year, because we might have an early congress”.
“He will be on the ballot paper,” Ralph Agyapong confirmed.
