The Management of Ghana Water Limited (GWL) in the Eastern Region has embarked on maintenance work to boost water supply to their customers in the New Juaben metropolitan on Monday, April 28, 2025.
GWL in a statement issued by the management informed clients in and around the Koforidua Metropolis that there will be an interruption of potable water. The release entreated consumers to store enough water for use during the period and beyond.
The Eastern Regional Public Relations Officer of the GWL, Kwadwo Daase, in an interview with Owuahene Kwabena Acheampong on Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem disclosed that the maintenance work aims to improve water distribution to their customers in the Metropolis.
Mr. Kwadwo Daase the exercise will enable the Company to carry out major maintenance work on the main transmission pipeline from the Bukunor Water Plant.
He said that GWL remains focused on improving service delivery to customers in the Eastern region.
