The Ghana Police Service has arrested suspect Enoch Asimiga for a robbery incident at Wassa Nkran in the Western Region on 13th June, 2025.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect attacked a victim near Wassa Nkran at gunpoint with a locally manufactured pistol, robbed him of some money and fled into a nearby cocoa farm. The victim raised alarm prompting a swift community response that led to the arrest of the suspect.
A search led to the retrieval of one (1) BB live cartridge, one (1) locally manufactured pistol and a Samsung mobile phone.
The suspect is currently in Police custody assisting ongoing investigations and will be put before the court.
