President John Dramani Mahama honored Ghana’s senior citizens with a special luncheon at the Presidency on July 1st, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the country’s development.

The event was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opuku-Agyeman
Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin, Acting Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, Chief of Staff Hon. Julius Debrah and Council of State Chairman Edward Doe Adjaho.

The gathering was a testament to the president’s appreciation for the wisdom, experience, and dedication of Ghana’s senior citizens.
By acknowledging their role in shaping the nation, President Mahama underscored the importance of intergenerational learning and the need to build on the foundations laid by previous generations.
