Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have reportedly sever ties with winger Johnson Oppong Owusu after just two-months at the club.
In an attempt to reshape the squad following an impressive GHALCA Top 4 performance, the Porcupine Warriors has move to part ways with underperforming players.
Oppong joined the Porcupine Warriors in June with high expectations, considering his wealth of experience in the local.
However, his spell has been cut short after failing to make the desire impact at the club. The 27-year-old attacker made his debut in the Toyota Cup against South African giants Kaizer Chiefs but has since struggled for regular minutes.
He started the GHALCA Top 4 clash against Heart of Lions before missing out on the cracker against Hearts of Oak, where the Porcupine Warriors succumbed to a 2-0 defeat.
Per reports, management was dissatisfied with his output during training and competitive matches, leading to the decision to part ways.
