Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, will begin camping on Sunday as they prepare for their decisive final fixtures in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The four time African champions are scheduled to face the Central African Republic in Morocco before returning home for a crucial clash against Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12.
Confirming the team’s programme, Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, revealed on Woezor TV’s Arena that players who play for their clubs on Saturday will report to camp on Sunday, while those in action on Sunday will join the squad the following day.
“Depending on the number of home based players who make the squad, they will also link up with the technical team and the entire contingent in Morocco,” he explained.
Asante Twum also disclosed that head coach Otto Addo has finalized and defended his squad list for the qualifiers.
The Black Stars will first take on the Central African Republic at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes in Morocco on Wednesday, October 8, with kick off scheduled for 16:00 GMT, before returning to Accra for the much anticipated Comoros showdown.
