The EYW Impact organization has successfully held its maiden 8-Area Football Gala in New Juaben South , aimed at promoting youth development and community engagement through sports.
The one-day event brought together young football talents from across Koforidua and surrounding areas to showcase their skills, teamwork, and discipline on the field.

Present were Omanhene of New Juaben Daasebre Kwaku Boateng II,Nkosuohene of Kwahu Nkwatia ,Nana Owiredu Wadie I, Aburihene Otoobour Djan Kwasi, chief of Nsawam, Nana Kwamena Ansah I, among other dignitaries.
The gala competition was participated by Bonya, Trom, Nsukwao, Zongo, Srodae, Oguaa,Anlo Town,and Betom.
After a series of thrilling knockout matches, Bonya emerged as the overall champions, taking home the trophy, gold medals, and a cash prize of ₵10,000.

Nsukwao placed second, earning ₵7,000 and silver medals, while Trom finished third with ₵5,000. Srodae came in fourth, receiving ₵2,000 for their efforts.
Founder of EYW impact Project,Eric Yeboah Wadie expressed appreciation to all participating teams, supporters, and partners for contributing to the success of the gala.
He emphasized that the initiative forms part of their broader mission to empower the youth through sports, leadership, and personal development.

The EYW Impact Football Gala will be an annual event, with plans already underway to make the next edition even bigger and more exciting.
Some best players of the competition were scouted to play justify with Okwahu United and other top tier clubs.
