On Tuesday morning, Kurt ES Okraku, the GFA President paid a working visit to the Minister of Education, my brother, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, to discuss matters of mutual interest between the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Ministry of Education.
He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Honourable Minister for the warm reception and his openness to dialogue on initiatives that seek to bridge the gap between education and football for the benefit of our youth and national development.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Education, focused on key areas of collaboration aimed at advancing the growth of both football and education in Ghana. Our discussions explored the synergy between education and football, particularly how the beautiful game can be effectively integrated into the educational framework to foster youth development, discipline and talent discovery across all levels of learning.
The Ghana Football Association remains fully committed to building a strong, sustainable partnership with the Ministry of Education, one rooted in shared values, mutual respect and a common vision to harness the power of football as a tool for education, character development, and national progress.
