Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan is reportedly behind Antoine Semenyo’s rich vein of form at AFC Bournemouth.
Semenyo has been outstanding for the Cherries this season, racking up six goals and providing three assists in 10 appearances across competitions.
Gyan, who featured in the Premier League for Sunderland is said to be working closely with Semenyo over the past six months, reviewing his game footage and offering tactical and psychological advice.
According to reports, the relationship between Gyan and Semenyo has grown significantly, with the former Udinese star acting as a mentor and big brother figure to the red-hot Bournemouth attacker.
However, the guidance of Gyan is said to be contributing to Semenyo’s impressive displays in the English Premier League.
Meanwhile, the forward has emerged as a top transfer target for several club’s as the winter transfer window approaches.
