Ghana international Fatawu Issahaku has expressed his delight after scoring an extraordinary goal for Leicester City in their Championship clash against Ipswich Town.
Issahaku etched his name into the history books of the Champions with his 65-yard strike, as the Foxes cruised to a 3-1 victory over their opponent at the King Power Stadium.
His goal outshined an early 30-yard opener from Bobby De Cordova-Reid in the match. Jordan Ayew added Leicester’s third early in the second half before Jens Cajuste pulled one back for Ipswich.
“Amazing, I feel so good about scoring that goal. I’ve been trying to get it, and I was so happy it went in, and I just feel happy. I hope [for] more goals and more wins so that we can get to where we want to be” he told Leicester TV.
Issahaku has registered 10 goal contributions for Leicester City this season, scoring four and delivering six assists across the period.
