Ghana international Antoine Semenyo will be included in the Manchester City squad for the Champions League knockout stage following qualification.
The Premier League defeated Galatasaray 2-0 in the final round of the group phase, confirming their place in the round of 16.
Semenyo, who joined Manchester City in the winter transfer window was unable to feature in the last two group games for the club since he was not registered.
With qualification confirmed, the Sky Blues are expected to register the Ghana international for the remainder of the UEFA’s elite club competition.
His expected inclusion provides Pep Guardiola with an additional attacking option as City prepare for the business end of the Champions League.
Since joining the club, Semenyo has racked up three goals from the initial four games for Manchester City, signaling his immediate impact at the club.
