Ghanaian movie actor, Agya Koo, has maintained that the Ashanti Regional Minister has done little to help the film sector.
He believes that instead of disparaging his enduring legacy, those who disagree with him should present proof.
He stated that he has not seen or heard of any initiatives to improve the plight of creatives in the area, but he has not been invited to any of the Minister’s events, so he is unable to address concerns that are bothering them.
He believes that if such a development occurs, it should be reported to him, and he will gladly support it as he has always done.
Agya Koo who made this known in a tweet said “I kept quiet till one of my guys sent me @BongoIdeas post, full of jabs. And he skipped mentioning what the Regional Minister has actually done. Berma I’m just protecting my privacy, not my facts. In my video I said I haven’t seen the Minister’s work yet.
So you should’ve mention what he’s done instead of just dishing out insults. More than 30 years in the industry and you think my career’s dead? I’d rather be a legend with timeless hits than a newbie with a fleeting trend. My career’s not dead, “Nyame nti Y3b3 kcso a make” waves even when am gone”.
