President John Dramani Mahama co-chaired the One Health Summit in Lyon, France, alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.
At the high-level gathering, he highlighted the growing complexity of global health threats and stressed the importance of the One Health approach.
President Mahama called for a shift “from commitment to action,” urging leaders to translate discussions into tangible outcomes for people, communities, and the planet, while drawing on Africa’s rich heritage of traditional knowledge and sustainable practices.
