Eight individuals have been sentenced to prison for their involvement in examination malpractice, as authorities intensify efforts to protect the integrity of Ghana’s education system.
The Head of Public Affairs at the Ghana Education Service (GES), Daniel Fenyi, disclosed the convictions, noting that the move forms part of a broader crackdown on cheating in national examinations.
Speaking on Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem on Bryt FM with host Kwamina Sam Biney, Mr. Fenyi stressed that examination malpractice continues to undermine the credibility of the country’s educational system.
He warned that offenders will face strict legal consequences, adding that authorities remain committed to enforcing examination regulations.
The GES has consequently urged students, teachers, and examination officials to strictly adhere to established rules, emphasizing that any form of malpractice will not be tolerated.
