Board of Directors of UN Youth Ghana led by the chairman of the Board, Mr. Fridaus Mubarak Yussif has paid a courtesy call on two health facilities in Nsawam of the Eastern Region.
The health facilities are District Hospital and Zongo Heath center in Nsawam.
This is Under Sustainable Development Goals 3, 10 and 17being Good Health and Well-being, Reduced Inequalities and Partnership to achieve goals.
The chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Fridaus Mubarak Yussif assured the Medical Superintendent as well as staff members of the hospital of UN Youth Ghana’s commitment to them to provide quality health care for the people in the area.
The Board of Directors also proposed to the Medical Superintendent that, they should also consider allowing youth who are in the District and it’s environs volunteer to help the day-to-day administration of the hospital.
Among their challenges were; Outstanding medical bills of mothers from the maternity ward, maternity facility to reduce congestion, hospital equipment, digital x-ray machines, and human resource.
