Head coach of Medeama SC Samuel Boadu has reacted to his side’s 2-0 defeat to Karela United in matchday 11 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Yellow and Mauve were silenced in the ‘Nzema derby’ at the Anyinase Camp Park and coach Boadu says he is not happy with the results.
Goals from Diawisie Taylor and Kwame Boateng settled the encounter.
In the post-match interview, the coach said, “I’m not happy we lost points at away. Our aim was to win the match to boost our standing on the league table”
“It was a difficult match because Karela played very well and that made it very difficult for us to penetrate,” he told the media at the post-match conference.
Medeama is 11th on the league log with 14 points after week eleven.
The Tarkwa based club will host Accra Hearts of Oak in their next fixture at the Akoon park on matchday twelve.
