Interim coach of Asante Kotoko Johnson Smith was left to rue missed chances as his side drew against Ashantigold in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The miners held the Porcupine Warriors to a 0-0 draw at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium and according to the gaffer, his side’s inability to pick the three maximum points is as a result of their profligacy at goal.
In the post-match interview, the former Karela United coach said, “You didn’t see the game well because we had all the chances to score but we couldn’t. Our opponent did not have a single chance”
“We were unable to score and that was the problem because we should have buried them by five or six goals,” he said.
Asante Kotoko are 7th on the table with 17 points after 11 round of matches.
