Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew could depart Swansea City in June at the expiration of his contract with the club.
Ayew has been an integral member of the Swansea City squad since returning from a loan spell with Turkish outfit Fenerbache in the 2018/19 season.
Despite enjoying a stellar campaign with the Championship side this season, he could set for a new club in the summer when his contract with Steve Cooper’s outfit elapse.
The midfielder who will be a free agent at the end of the season could begin talks with clubs interested in him.
However, should Swansea City fail to tie him down to the club he will leave when the season ends.
Reacting to his current situation with the club, he indicated he is focused on helping the club secure promotion to the Premier League and has said he will talk about contractual issues after achieving his dream with the club.
“We will see. When you start thinking about that, it takes away some of your focus, and I don’t want that,” he told FourFourTwo.
“It could get to a point where that question will come – ‘Are you staying or going?’ – but right now I’m happy here.
He has made 38 appearances this season for the club scoring 14 goals.
He has been a key figure for Steve Cooper side since returning from a loan spell with Turkish outfit Fenerbache in the 2018/19 season.
