The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has assured all caterers under the Ghana School Feeding Program that the government is committed to ensuring that all caterers who have undertaken School Feeding Program will be paid in due course.
In a statement issued by the Ministry and signed by the Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya Constituency, Ms. Sarfo affirmed that she has received several complaints from people who undertook the program yet have not been paid.
The statement also pleaded with the caterers to exercise patience while they do a quick assessment and mobilize the needed resources to settle the indebtedness as efforts are being made to assess the state of indebtedness of the GSFP.
