The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released provisional results for the 2021 West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and has been communicated to the public in a press release.
The statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs, Mrs Agnes Teye-Cudjoe stated that 1,339 results of candidates have been cancelled for various examination malpractices while the entire results of 3,667 candidates have also been withheld pending the conclusion of investigations into various cases of malpractices detected during and after the conduct of the examination.
The statement added that scripts of candidates from 194 schools in certain subjects have been withheld and are scrutinised.
