The General Secretary for Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS) Mr Kwame Owosu Aduome has appeal to the government and some institutions to help them to organize the National Science and Math’s Quiz (NMSQ) for 2020 academic year.
According to him, his outfit is waiting for the government to grant them some funds to aid them to move from one place to another to which he believes won’t be possible to organize the quiz.
Speaking to Dadi FM, Mr. Kwame Owosu Aduome debunked rumours of him declaring not to organize the Quiz. This he explained that “Before the introduction of the free Senior High School policy, parents were the ones supporting the quiz organization.
“This Quiz is one of Ghana’s biggest academic competition aired on Television and Radio stations across the country. It is an annual program based on national level quiz competition for senior high schools in Ghana, which aims at sharping brains of students.
Though it is an acceptable educational program by the country, my outfit will be compelled to limit it the regional level due to inadequate funds which will kill the concepts of the program hence urging the government to do everything possible to hold the high esteem the program has attained,” he explained to Efa Wo Ho Morning show host.
