Lord FM News has gathered that two weeks baby girl has been dumped and found dead this dawn at Sefwi Bekwai in the Bibiani Ahwianso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
The situation has put residents in the area into a state of shock.
According to Mr. Kwaku Bawah, a Zoomlion worker who saw the shocking incident narrated that he came to the refuse site to dump refuse only to see the baby covered with a cloth with one leg out.
He narrated he then shouted and called the neighbors who were present at the time, only to find that the baby was already dead.
The Assembly member for Anorku Electoral Area, Hon. Kwasi Prince Tano was shocked at the incident and reported the case to Sefwi Bekwai District Police Command who collaborated with the environmental health officers to bury the toddler.
He indicated that the police has started investigations into the incident.
Some residents who spoke to Lord FM News called on the police to do detailed investigations and bring out the perpetrator to face the full rigor of the law.
