The Black Galaxies have been handed with injury boost following the return of captain Gladson Awako to training ahead of their quarter final game.
On Monday, Awako trained with the group ahead of the quarter finals encounters on Saturday.
The Hearts of Oak player picked up an injury in the teams opening game against Madagascar, where Ghana suffered a 2-1 defeat.
The team bounced back to winning ways against Sudan but Awako was unavailable for the clash.
He is back in training with the squad as they prepare for the quarter finals stage of the competition this weekend.
The home-based national team will face the winner of Group E (Cameroon or Niger) in the quarterfinals after finishing second in Group C.
Meanwhile, Razak Yusif, who also suffered an injury in the opening group game is also set to make a return to training in the coming days.
