Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana has broken his silence on the Black Stars poor showing at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars exited the tournament at group stage after failing to negotiate for points against Uruguay in their final game in Group H.
After beating South Korea, Ghana needed a win or draw against Uruguay to progress to the knockout phase of the biggest soccer mundial.
But the West African powerhouse suffered a 2-0 defeat to the South American country.
Speaking to the BBC, the newly signed Southampton winger asserted the team must improve from the World Cup fiasco in subsequent games.
“We need to return to international football with the mindset of improving from the outing in Qatar,”
“Everyone understands what is expected and we cannot make the same mistakes again as a country.
“We must do all we can, deliver on the pitch and make our country proud.”
