The whereabouts of Ghana’s winger Christian Atsu is yet to be officially confirmed barely 24 hours since he was reported rescued from the rumble in an earthquake on Turkey/Syria boarder.
Even though there were earlier reports that the playerhas been rescued and sent to the hospital, it is yet to be confirmed by the agent nor the Turkish club he play for.
Meanwhile, many important personalities in the issue have tweeted as below:
Ghana’s Ambassador to the Turkey H.E Mrs. Francisca Ashietey-Odunton wrote “We’re yet to establish contact with Atsu because of the confusion around but we know he’s been pulled out of the rubble and sent to hospital. But we don’t know which particular hospital he’s been sent”.
“No club official or hospital staff have been able to confirm his presence in any hospital in Hatya or a neighbouring country, we are still searching for him, so are very concerned. It’s 24 hours since it was reported he’s alive, however he has not been seen in any hospital” Atsu’s agent has also stated.
“There’s No Confirmation Whatsoever of Christian Atsu’s Whereabouts’ -Moratt (Ghanaian Int./Kayserispor Midfielder Bernard Mensah’s manager).
