Former Ghana international Yaw Acheampong has indicated that the ongoing Ghana Premier League has been competitive.
In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, the former Techiman Eleven Wonders and Elmina Sharks trainer hailed all clubs for making the ongoing domestic top-flight one of the exciting and competitive league season in the country.
According to him, the points gap between clubs justifies the competitiveness of the Ghana Premier League.
“I think the Ghana Premier League has been exciting so far. The points gap between the clubs tells you the league is very competitive. The second round is always difficult but I believe things are going on well” he said.
Aduana Stars are on top of the league log with 35 points after 18 matches into the campaign.
The domestic top-flight is on break this weekend because of the MTN FA Cup round of 16 games.
