Ajax manager John Heitinga says Kudus Mohammed is a type of player people would like to watch at the stadium due to his outstanding performance.
The Ghana international put up an impressive show when Ajax inflicted a 3-0 win over De Graapschap on Thursday night in the Dutch Cup quarterfinals.
He assisted one of his sides goals as Ajax progressed to the semifinals of the Cup competition.
“Mohammed Kudus is a player with exceptional qualities. He can go past players, he is very good in small spaces, this is the type of player you go to the stadium for,” said Heitinga after the game.
Jorge Sanchez opened the scoring for Ajax before Steven Bergwijn lashed onto Kudus’ assist. Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey sealed victory in the second half.
Meanwhile, Kudus Mohammed has scored 15 goals and provided 4 assists across competitions for Ajax.
