Nkawkaw Magistrate court has remanded 71-year old blind man, George Mudor into two weeks prison custody for allegedly murdering his wife.
The victim, Grace Mudor, 65, was murdered by the suspect on Tuesday dawn at Abepotia near Nkawkaw in the Kwahu West district of the Eastern region.
According to report, the suspect engaged in the heinous crime after several threats by the the deceased to divorce him.
However, the Nkawkaw Magistrate court presided over by His Lordship Isaac Adjei remanded the suspect upon his own conviction to pave way for further investigations.
Meanwhile, some residents of Abepotia have expressed shock at the action of the suspect has come them as a surprise.
