Black Stars’ players paid their last respect to late Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu after training in Kumasi.
The team arrived in Kumasi on Tuesday afternoon and trained later in the day ahead of their game against Angola in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers on Thursday.
The players were unable to represent at the funeral that was held on March 17 at State House in Accra.
After training on Tuesday, the team came together to say their final goodbye to the player who was laid to rest last weekend.
Atsu tragically died following the devastating earthquake which hit Turkey and Syria on February 6.
His lifeless body was found 12 days after the massive earthquake in the European country.
He made 65 appearances for the Black Stars and scored nine times for the senior national team.
The former Chelsea and Newcastle United winger was confirmed dead 12 days after his lifeless body was recovered from the rubble of his apartment.
