A 28-year-old mason has inflicted severe cutlass wounds on wife’s former husband following his visit to lady’s house at Ekumfi Abontsin Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.
A report revealed the suspect whose name was only given as Kwame, had earlier warned the victim to desist visiting his wife, Maame Esi for any reason at her residence.
Things got out of hands after Samuel Hagan, the butchered fellow and a farmer tried visiting the ex-wife who he has a five year-old son with on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
Samuel Hagan according to eyewitness report had visited to see his sick son to give some money for his medication where the culprit met him on the way with a cutlass and butchered him.
The victim had his forehead, left shoulder and head all inflicted with cutlass wounds.
Suspect after committing the atrocious act has bolted to a hideout.
Adwoa Aduamah, mother to the victim narrated his son’s visit to the ex-wife’s place was solely to follow up on a money he sent three days ago through a neighbor to be given for medication of her grandson who has been sick for almost a week now.
Joe Evans, An ryewitness to the incident told Newsmen the suspect after leaving the victim with severe cuts all over the body has fleed to a hideout as police manhurt for him.
Victim is currently responding to treatment at the Ekumfi Ayisem Chip Compound with the case reported to the Mankessim Police Station as investigation commences.
