Relegated Leicester City have parted company with Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey.
The Ghana international leaves the club together with six other players whose contract were not renewed after expiration.
Amartey joined the Foxes in January 2016 and established himself as a key cog, winning some laurels with the team.
During his eight-year spell, the Black Stars defender made over 100 appearances, scoring two goals in the process.
He played a huge role when Leicester City won the FA Cup and the Community Shield in 2021.
Amartey is expected to find himself a club before the start of the 2023/24 season.
He will join the Black Stars for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar this month.
