The Eastern Regional Football Association (ERFA) has splashed GHC18,000 to support clubs that have secured qualification to the Division Two Middle League.
Six teams are expected to participate in this year’s middle league, namely, Okwahu United, Kwaebibirem United, Right to Dream Academy, Super FC, Live Now Academy and Blue Skies Pelicans.
Each of the teams will take GHC3000 as participating fee ahead of the Middle League.
The cash boot is to ensure that the participating clubs are well positioned financially for the crucial six teams tournament.
In addition, the Eastern RFA has absorbed officiating fees and other expenses in this year’s competition.
The Middle League will commence on Monday, June 12 through to June 25, 2023 across three match venues (Tafo Rovers Park, Mampong Park, and Dawu Sports Stadium).
The winner of the Middle League will book qualification to the Division One League next season and will participate in Zone 3.
