Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have parted ways with defender Robert Addo Sowah ahead of the new season.
The 29-year-old joined the Phobians in 2016 and established himself as a key cog to the club, helping the Ghanaian giants to end their trophy drought during the 2020/21 season.
Following the expiration of his contract, the club has decided not to extend his stay as he leaves as a free agent.
“A great time spent together as a committed player, a reliable defender and a patient person. Thank you for your service” the club tweeted.
Addo Sowah spent last season on loan at Samartex and helped the club to escape relegation at the end of the 2022/23 season.
The enterprising defender has a total of 81 appearances in the Ghana Premier League.
