Former Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has denied joining Ghanaian lower-tier club Kumasi Cornerstone FC.
On Monday, new broke out that the former Ghana Premier League winner has reached an agreement to lead the team as a stop-gap trainer.
But Boadu in an interview has denied whiles expressing shock about the news.
“I have not signed for Cornerstone, I’m even surprised. No disrespect to the club but I cannot join a club in Division Two”
“Everyone knows my pedigree in the game, it can never be true. How can I leave a top club in Ghana and drop to the lower-tier? he asked.
Boadu recently led the Black Satellites to the just-ended WAFU B Cup of Nations, where Ghana suffer early elimination at the tournament in Ivory Coast.
He is currently not attached after leaving Hearts of Oak early last season.
