Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana has seen his red card against Leicester City overturned following an appeal by Southampton.
The Black Stars winger made a return from injury to feature for Southampton in their 4-1 defeat to the Foxes at the St Mary’s Stadium last Friday.
Sulemana was a second half substitute but saw red in stoppage time following a challenge on James Justin.
Upon appeal, the English FA has rescinded the red card, making the Ghana international available for their next fixture.
Sulemana will be available for Southampton against Ipswich Town on Tuesday night.
“Jan Bednarek is back in the squad and we won our appeal with Kamaldeen, so Kamaldeen is in the squad which is a good news” Southampton coach Russell Martin confirmed ahead of their game against Ipswich Town.
