The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai in the Western North Region Hon.Paul Andoh on Sunday, October 1,2023 presented sporting materials to the Sefwi Awaso Compound Football Club.
The items include a brand new set of jerseys and footballs.
Hon. Paul Andoh said the donation of the items was his contribution towards sports promotion and improvement talents in the Municipality.
He said the MP for the Constitution Lawyer Alfred Obeng Boateng was supposed to be around, but another equally important assignment had taken him away.
He used the opportunity to recount his days in Sefwiman FC, Bibiani Gold Star FC,Samatex FC and Kumasi King Faisal FC.
He therefore advised them to be disciplined and stay away from drugs and alcohol.
Mr.Mooro Nobilah former teammate of the MCE who received the items on behalf of the team, said they were grateful to the MC for the support and pledged to ensure that they are strictly used for the intended purpose.
