Ghana Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak have mutually parted ways with three players ahead of the second round of the campaign.
The three players namely, Eric Esso, Michelle Sarpong and Cameroonian forward Albert Eounde have been shown the exit door after failing to impress the club.
Eric Esso joined the Phobians in August 2022 after leaving Ashantigold. He made just eight appearances in the first round of the domestic top-flight.
His unimpressive performance has forced the club leadership to sever ties with him ahead of the second round.
After several loan spells, Michelle Sarpong has finally left the Ghanaian giants after failing to cement his place in the Hearts of Oak team. He had loan spells with Dreams FC and Real Tamale United.
Sarpong made only six appearances in the first half of the Ghana Premier League campaign.
Albert Eounde, who joined the Phobians in January 2023 has also been shown the exit door after an unimpressive spell.
The 25-year-old Cameroonian attacker has seen his spell with the Ghanaian giants cut short after failing to settle at the club.
He made nine appearances for the club without a goal or an assist.
The club has therefore wished Esso, Sarpong and Eounde the very best of luck in their future endeavours.
