Dreams FC missed out on reaching the final of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup after succumbing to a defeat to Egyptian giants Zamalek in Kumasi.
The Still Believe lads failed to glitter at the Baba Yara Stadium after falling short to Zamalek despite the immense support.
The Ghana FA Cup holders went into the return leg with the advantage after holding the Egyptian powerhouse to a pulsating goalless draw in the first leg played at the Cairo International Stadium.
Putting on a stellar performance, Zamalek inflicted a resounding 3-0 win over the Ghanaian outfit to progress to the final.
Zamalek shot into the lead after just 12 minutes into the game through Hamza Mathlouthi before Samson Akinyoola doubled the advantage for the visitors. The visitors went to the halftime break with the advantage.
After recess, Zamalek found the back of the net again through Mostafa Shalaby to cement victory as they progress 3-0 on aggregate.
Zamalek will face the winner of USM Alger and RS Berkane tie.
