Tekpetey, who plies his trade for Ludogorets was outstanding as his outfit clinched the title at the end of the season. He racked up 10 goals in 30 matches for his outfit.
Although, he finished third on the goal king list, but he was ranked as the second best striker in the league during the “Heroes of the Circle” show.
The Ghanaian forward fell behind Krumovgrad striker Alexander Kolev, who scored 15 goals in 33 games.
Tekpetey is followed closely by his team-mate Ruan Kroos, who remained just one goal behind the top scorer Alexander Kolev.
The Top 5 is completed by Atanas Iliev and Marin Petkov.
Despite his exploits in the just ended season, the Bulgaria-based striker was again overlooked by the technical handlers of the Black Stars ahead of Mali and Central Africa Republic games.
