Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has called on Ghanaians to approach the upcoming December 2024 elections with patriotism and love to ensure a violence-free process.
Speaking at the 16th Graduation Ceremony of Presbyterian College of Education Akropong-Akuapem, he stated the need for integrity and responsibility in exercising democratic rights and urged citizens to unite for peace, continuing the tradition of peaceful elections since 1992.
Rev. Dr. Nicholas Apreh Siaw, Principal of the college, praised the government for its support. GETFUND has allocated Ghc 500,000 for academic and infrastructural development and an additional Ghc 200,000 for faculty development and research.
This funding will support staff pursuing postgraduate studies and departmental research initiatives for 2024.
