Black Stars new boy Ibrahim Osman will not feature in the English Premier League this season after securing a move to Feyenoord.
The 19-year-old has joined the Dutch top-flight side on a season-long loan from Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion.
Despite pulling off a staggering performance during preseason, he has been farmed out on loan until the end of the 2024/25 football season.
According to Brighton’s technical director, David Weir, the Ghanaian winger has been loaned out to Feyenoord due to the huge competition in the wide areas of the team.
“Ibrahim has had a good pre-season with the squad. “We have strong competition in the wide areas and the feeling is that it is much better for Ibrahim’s development for him to be playing regular senior football. “This is an excellent opportunity for him to play at Feyenoord and we will be watching his progress as the season unfolds.”
Meanwhile, the Ghanaian attacker joined Brighton from Nordjaelland in January, penning a five year deal.
He has already debuted for the Black Stars and is looking to cementing his place in the national team.
