The campaign team for the Suhum Constituency Member of Parliament has denied claims that Kwadjo Asante, popularly known as “Boafo” in the Suhum Constituency, resigned from his role as an independent candidate.
Samuel Baah Gosh, the spokesperson for the Kwadjo Asante Boafo campaign team, vehemently refuted the rumors in an interview with Kwamina Sam Biney on Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem on Koforidua based Bryt Fm, saying that the MP will run as an independent for the Suhum seat.
A picture of him with the Majority Leader went viral shortly after the Speaker of Parliament indefinitely postponed sittings, sparking rumors that he was withdrawing his intention to run for the Suhum Constituency seat.
“Suhum MP, Hon. Kwadjo Asante is still in the race contesting as an independent candidate for the Suhum constituency come December 7, 2024” he stated.
