Leicester City attacker Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been sidelined for several month due to an injury setback.
Issahaku sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the penultimate AFCON 2025 qualifying game against Angola.
The former Sporting CP winger was ruled out of the final game against Niger last Monday, where Ghana succumbed to a 2-1 defeat.
Following a successful surgery, the Ghanaian international has been ruled for 6-9 months, ending his 2024/25 campaign.
“All glory be to Almighty Allah. My surgery was successful, and I just want to tell you that I am okay. I want to thank everyone for your best wishes.” Issahaku wrote on Instagram.
The young forward is determined to return stronger, assuring fans of improved fitness upon his recovery.
