Former member of parliament for New Juaben north Hackman Owusu Agyemang has advised teacher trainees to take their studies seriously in order to pass their final exams well.
The Chairman of the NPP National Executive Committee indicated the essence of putting in extra work by students will lead to good performance after the end of their stay in school.
Speaking at the commissioning of an ultra modern office complex at the SDA College of Education in Koforidua, Mr Owusu Agyemang, who supported the construction of the edifice, showed appreciation to the leadership of the college for their hard work in terms of academic performance and infrastructural development over the years.
For the Eastern Regional minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong, the college has achieved many heights over the years and attributed the success to successive management.
He commended the college for naming the office complex after the former MP Hackman Owusu Agyemang for his support to the institution
The minister was of the view the office complex will face lift the colleges’ image and also improve the activities of authorities and management.
Professor Vincent Adzahlie-Mensah, Principal of the college showed appreciation to his predecessors and pledged his tenure will also do more to ensure the college attain higher heights
He was grateful to all those who supported in the construction of the new office complex and indicated staff commitment to quality teaching and learning.
Mr. Michael Asiedu, CEO of Mecfam limited, Accra based contractor who constructed the facility also assured the college of regular base maintenance of the facility to help expand its life span.
