Dr Randy Abbey has expressed optimism about the new Black Stars management committee.
The Ghana FA dissolved the previous committee last years following the Black Stars 2025 AFCON qualification setback.
Few months later, the domestic football governing body has constituted a new management committee, with Randy Abbey spearheading them.
Meanwhile, former captain of the national team Stephen Appiah takes on the role as vice-chairman.
The committee also include Samuel Aboabire, Moses Armah Parker and Richard Duah Nsenkyire.
“We are going to benefit a lot from Appiah’s experience, network and the many ideas. Moses Armah Parker is a club owner and top businessman. He has loads of experience in football and previously served on the same committee, Nsenkyire is a top cooperate personality. You look at how he’s being able to run Samartex and his background in the coorperate world for about 30-years. Samuel Aboabire is being in the game for long”
“Looking at the committee, you could see there is a blend of people with diverse backgrounds, expected, and experiences. I think its quiet a good blend”
“With the commitment I have seen, we will be able to do something great for Ghana football. Those who previously held the position did their best and we are going to build upon it. It’s a composition of some quiet experience and qualified persons. I hope we will be able to do a great job for Ghana and GFA” he told Original FM in an interview.
