President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has disclosed he has been cleared to contest for a slot on the CAF Executive Council.
Okraku, who double as the President of the WAFU B was cleared after passing the integrity and eligibility test.
He met all the necessary ethical criteria set by CAF and is now in contention for the slot on the continental football governing body.
Okraku is clean with regards to criminal record, financial integrity, and none involvement in doping or match-fixing as well as background in football governance amongst others.
“Thrilled to share that I have been cleared to contest for a place on the Executive Committee of CAF, after successfully passing the integrity test. Excited for what lies ahead. May God guide us through this journey” he wrote on social media.
Meanwhile, Okraku, representing the West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU B), is running unopposed for the Executive Committee position.
The CAF EXCO Elective Congress will take place in Cairo, Egypt, on March 12, 2025.
