The Supreme courts nominee, justice Senyo Dzemefe has support the need to increase of supreme court judges for effective justice delivery.
According to him, the move will minimize delays, reduce unnecessary expenses, and contribute to the overall efficient administration of the apex court.
Appearing before the vetting committee , he called for the building of more courts across the country and the need to have visual courts to enable individuals who can not appear in person provide evidence before the court..
He suggested timelines for cases to avoid delays, which he believed that individuals would have more confidence in the judicial service.
Justice Senyo Dzamefe, a Court of Appeal judge widely regarded as the longest-serving judge currently in Ghana’s judiciary. His extensive experience on the bench and prior high-profile work, including his leadership of the Dzamefe Commission that probed Ghana’s 2014 World Cup campaign, makes him one of the most prominent nominees.
