The Police Ladies Association (POLAS), has on today Thursday, July 2, 2020, donated some relief items to the House of Saint Francis Clinic and Rehabilitation Centre at Middle East Ashaiman as part of their cooperate social responsibilities for the year 2020.
The delegation was led by the president of the Police Ladies Association (POLAS) and the Director-General Motor Traffic and Transport Unit, Commissioner of Police, Mrs. Beatrice Zakpaa Vib-Sanziri. She was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mrs. Laurencia Akorli of Community Policing Department (CPD), Chief Superintendent of Police, Mrs. Suzanna Adjei Mensah who is the District Officer for Adjei Kojo Police and doubles as the head of POLAS in Tema and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mr. Charles Kwakye, the Staff Officer for Motor Transport and Traffic Department (MTTD) among others.

The items presented included a cash donation of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢10,000.00) from the Police Administration. The rest are, 50 pieces of 6 inches high-density mattresses, 10 bags of 25kg rice, 20 boxes of canned tomatoes, 10 gallons of disinfectants, 10 gallons of bleach, 5 big packs of toilet roll, six-packs of jumbo tissue papers and 10 boxes of hand sanitizer donated by National POLAS.
Tema POLAS also donated one 25kg bag of rice, one gallon of oil, and 4 cartons of soft drinks.
In presenting the items, COP/Mrs. Beatrice Zakpaa Vib-Sanziri said the Association took this initiative as part of it’s cooperated social responsibilities. She highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts between such institutions and the Police Service in order to reduce the incidence of crime.

The Director of the Center, Rev. Fr. Eric Kabenlah expressed his profound gratitude to the Police Ladies Association and implored other bodies to emulate what the police ladies have done for a greater good.
